This is with new items, not just editing existing items.

I've also noticed other odd  behavior as well:

Indenting may indent the current line and next line or not indent at all.

Indenting on the current line may also create an extra blank line after an Enter is pressed.

Un-indenting may un-indent the current line, remove the next blank line, un-indent the next line, or do nothing at all.

Pressing Enter twice often creates an extra space character on the 1st of the 2 lines. Somewhat related, sometimes an Enter will go to the next 'line' in the WUSIWUG and sometimes it creates a space (like this posting does between "paragraphs") in the WUSIWUG.

As I play with the editor more, the key concept is: type what you want, then format, then save and hope you don't have to edit any format later. I realize the editor may not be your creation but having a good one is kind of key for this type of application.

Maybe this is why I like vi so much....
