IP Schema Changes

We are going to change our subnet, DHCP scopes and DNS entries. The IP address of the server that houses Contour and SQL 2005 will have to be changed, my question is:

After the IP change of the server will there be any additional changes of the Contour server that I will need to make to ensure that Contour and SQL 2005 continues running as expected?

Re: IP Schema Changes

There are two places that we specify IP addresses in Contour.  The first is during the setup process, where you told Contour where your SQL server was located. If you used "localhost" then you don't have to change anything (assuming your SQL server is still on the same machine as Contour).  If you do need to change it you can do so in your properties file:  %CONTOUR_HOME%/database.properties (database.url line).

The other place you may need to change your settings would be the SMPT server.  You can find these settings under the root admin, System Properties tab.
