Clicking Edit menu

When editing an item, you have to select the 'edit' from the 'edit' menu. For this particular menu, it would be nice to just 'click' on the edit menu icon to edit. I frequently find myself doing that, then moving the mouse quickly. I then get the unexpected result of 'enable e-mail notification' success instead of editing the item. (The Actions menu is just left of the edit menu item - so it thinks I'm now selecting that menu).

Re: Clicking Edit menu
Two things we are contemplating for the next release: Double click the item details to edit, and move "copy" and "delete" into the Actions menu. Both of these address your problem. I think you will really like the double click idea. Either way, we are working on making editing quicker, with less mouse clicks.

Re: Clicking Edit menu

I'm sorry that I was unclear above. By double-click, I mean on the actual textarea of the item. It is just in the "idea" phase for now, but we all really like the concept. When you open an item, we think it would be nice to interact with it directly, double-clicking on the white space or text to open the edit screen. It saves you the time of looking for a button, and allows a more tactile experience in editing.

Getting the edit button out of the drop down is the other option. It's more traditional, but certainly takes an extra click out of the process.
