Jama Contour very slow using Firefox(2.0) Ubuntu(7.10)

If i run Jama Contour using Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080325 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.13, when a modal panel is open, a cpu stay with the processing around 90%.

 

For example. when a i click on menu "Edit", and select "Edit Item".

Couple questions for you:

 

  • What version of Contour are you running? (we have some updates in 2.2 that adress speed issues)

  • Wha version of Tomcat are you running?  (we have had problems with the Synaptic version of tomcat reported)

 

We have a couple linux machines here (fedora and suse), and haven't had any issues with speed since 2.2.  I will double check the modal window functions and get back to you.
