I was creating some new items in the new Contour 2.02 environment and noticed that the item type dropdown at the top of the form contains some correct item names and some incorrect. For the item types that are misnamed, they do use the correct form, but I verified that the name in the dropdown list (see attached) doesn't have the same name as the item's definition in the Admin screen (I've prefixed all my item types with "OI" for the project that I'm on). Let me know if there's anything on my end that needs to be modified to resolve this.
Just had it pointed out to me that the name is a reflection of the SetName and not the item name. Sorry ![]()
Yes, one of our biggest challenges for us is terminology and making everything intuitive. Suggestions are always welcome.
On that window you could probably get away with labeling the dropdown as "Select Set:" rather than "Select Type:" to avoid the confusion. When I saw the "Select Type:" label there, I expected to see the Item Type names rather than the set names. In retrospect, since you can have more than one set of a given Item Type, selecting an Item Type wouldn't really tell the system where the item is supposed to go. Hope that helps cut the fog of my confusion
Thanks!
