Report "format" missing in 2.0.1

I am unable to preview or generate reports in Contour 2.0.1 because there are no entries in the Select Format region. I recently upgraded from 1.7.4 to 2.0.1. Unfortunately, I did not experiment with reports on 1.7.4 so I can't confirm whether the formats were present then or not. Is there a setting or configuration entry I might need to adjust?

 

 

I discovered the same problem existed on my test (demo) installation.  Both machines were recently upgraded.  I just uninstalled and reinstalled everything using the 2.0 .exe file and the report formats are now displayed.  We'd rather not have to take that approach with the actual server, if there is another solution.

You should not have to re-install to get the formats to show. Those values are static values added when the page loads. It is very odd that you are not seeing them. If restarting the server, deleting the "work" directory in Tomcat and clearing your cache does not resolve the problem it would be worth while looking at the log files to see if an error is being thrown. Is there anything specifically different about the system such as running an older Java?

I'll have to get with the server administrator to check the log files.  In the meantime, I just now completely removed the 2.0.1 (working) installation from my test machine - this is the installation from the 2.0.1 exe.  I then reinstalled 1.7.4 and verified the format selections are present in its report screen.  I then reapplied the 2.0.1 upgrade making sure I performed every step in the instructions.  When I go to the Report screen now, as before, the format selections are missing.  There must be some "insignificant" difference between the install executable and the upgrade files.

 

 

 

 

I just went back to my test machine and deleted the work\contour - that cleared the problem!

clearing cache fixed issue.
