With Rev 1.7.4, you can attach documents (or images, etc.) to an Item. It would be nice to do the same for a folder. The work-around is to put an extra item in the folder just for the attachment, but the rest of the information for the item is 'wasted' and the item can be easily 'lost' among the other items for the folder.
For context: I wanted to attach an image to a folder with a set of requirements (items) relating to the image. IMHO, The image is best associated with the folder, not an item in the folder.
We discussed this and agree that we should allow users to define what "components" should be visible on both items and folders. For example, you should be able to configure folders to include things like tags, comments, attachments etc. This has been scheduled for a Q1 release.
