Enterprise Report development provides powerful functionality - but can also be complicated. Jama has identified a few issues to be aware of when working with custom reports.
Rich text editor: The rich text editor is a wonderful thing...however it does cause some confusion for both users and reports. The key thing to keep in mind is the rich text editor is using HTML behind the scenes to make the text look so nice. This is in part why copying from Word to the rich text editor, depending on the styles used, sometimes looks different than expected.
PDF vs Word vs HTML
: The other big confusion is that for each format there are different converters which, of course, all work slightly differently. This means that a report run in PDF may look different when run in Word or HTML. We will try and highlight the differences here.
