Workflow
Documentation of our simple workflow feature for Contour
Objective
Provide users with enhanced ability to track status but is lighter-weight than full workflow engine. The user would have the option of using either workflow-light or full workflow.
Trigger
User has completed their work on a particular item and wants to indicate the update to item status.
Flow
User opens artifact within Contour
User views item and choses to advance status
User selects to "Advance to next stage"
System
Questions
Should this be a replacement of the Status drop down combo box, or a new component driving values in a new field
Can we enable the user to implement this as an option for any field with a drop down
